    Remote Access Components

    Hi there,

I have downloaded the evaluation version of the Networking In The Hand to evaluate the RAS components, however, I still have no access to the RemoteAccess namespace for some reason.  Are these components omitted from the evaluation version or am I missing something?

     Thanks in advance.

The documentation for the RemoteAccess namespace refers to a version of the code which is currently in development. We have been working to expand our compatibility with Windows Embedded CE and the RemoteAccess namespace allows you to programmatically control network connections on devices which don't have ConnectionManager. I'll be able to post further details on the product updates soon.

    Re: Remote Access Components

I downloaded and tried the Remote Access current InTheHand mobile framework on a CE.NET 4.2 device. The function remoteaccess.entries only returns 1 item, although there were 2 entries on the device. I also tried it with remoteaccess.entrynames and saw the same result. We are interested in using this to dial an existing RAS connection. We are willing to pay to get it to work. Thanks, Chris

    Re: Remote Access Components

Please send me an email to feedback@inthehand.com and I'll help work through the issue. I'll need to know a bit more about the device in question and the names of the entries you see on the device versus those returned from the library.

    Regards,

    Peter
